Jenna Kersten is a writer seeking to serve the world through her words. A third-year student at Siena College, Jenna is majoring in English with minors in German and International Studies.
She is currently studying abroad in Berlin, Germany through Academic Programs International. At Siena, she is a Resident Assistant, a Social Media Assistant with the Office of International Programs, a writer for Her Campus Siena, and a Peer Writing Consultant, ESOL Mentor, and ESOL Mentorship Coordinator with the Siena College Writing Center. Additionally, she is a Community Engaged Teaching and Learning Fellow with Siena’s Office of Academic Community Engagement, where she works to facilitate service partnerships between Siena College courses and Albany Leadership Charter High School for Girls.
She is interested in the impact that a few well-chosen words can have on others by raising awareness and concern for relevant issues and forging meaningful connections between people. She enjoys traveling, pretentious conversations, silly puns, and talking about herself in the third person.
